The Green Tunnel… Means what?
The Green Tunnel is the ecological backbone of IJburg, conceptualized by city biologists from the start of our new urban district at the beginning of the 21st century’, bringing back species that live there under and above water, making it an ideal place for birds to breed, fish to live in the clean water and rabbits and foxes even a bit further on in the park!
We look forward to welcoming you to our ecoluxe sustainable accommodation and hope to offer you a home away from home.
We’ll be very happy to tell you all about Amsterdam, avoiding the tourist-traps. And also, all about IJburg and its spectacular architecture, the beaches, the bustling marine with local restaurants and shops, water recreation possibilities. Its unique natural surroundings, hiking and biking trails.
